History Lies.

    By the quote of "History is a lie commonly agreed upon" Voltaire has one simple meaning. He means that the history that is taught is basically those that agree that makes their own country looks better in the textbook. Students that are unaware think that we have the greatest country and that nothing bad has ever happened or that our founding fathers have never done anything against what they stand for. Yes the United States is an extravagant country, but there are lies that are told and should have some light shed upon them. There are adults in this country that have no idea what has truly occurred. Is this the kind of people we want walking around our land, uneducated and oblivious ?
